Qualification/skills/requirements
Preferred Tertiary education, Diploma and above
1 – 2 years operations or customer service experiences in air freight/courier industry
Being knowledgeable in customs entry, import/export regulations, FDA regulations or dangerous goods regulations will be advantageous.
Professional English proficiency (Verbal and written)
Good telephone presence
Ability to perform in a fast-pace working environment and under pressure.
Good command of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Able to work on Saturday/public holiday
Mature, attention to details, practical thinking and fast leaner
Job responsibilities
Respond to telephone calls/e-mails and provide information / assistance as required
Be the first point of contact for our customers for providing quotations, fastest transit times supplying the best door-to-door solution
Assist the shipper/consignee with export/import documentation to avoid possible clearance delays during exportation and or importation
Make booking, select routings, proactively track and update customers with shipment statuses.
Coordinate collections & deliveries and process shipments for exports and imports (as applicable)
Liaise with customers, other departments, airlines, international agents, and other overseas offices in our network ensuring our shipments are handled appropriately
Rectify operational issues minimizing delays to agreed delivery times.
Handle time critical shipments, dangerous goods, temperature sensitive products using special packaging (including refrigerants and temperature monitors)
Any additional customer service and operational tasks as required by management
M-F and Some alternate Saturday
